Personal information is collected under section 8 of the Canada National Parks Act and section 8 of the Parks Canada Agency Act to support the administration and delivery of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System. The personal information is used to support newsletter distribution and information sharing about the Canadian Heritage Rivers System.
Personal information also enables Parks Canada and participating provincial, territorial and federal governments to keep subscribers informed and to support effective communication about the Canadian Heritage Rivers System.
